Staff Evaluation & Development

The sixth competency defines that the principal knows how to implement a staff evaluation and development system to improve the performance of all staff members, select and implement appropriate models for supervision and staff development, and apply the legal requirements for personnel management. You are invited to click here for my blog posts related to staff evaluation and development. Here is how I strive to meet the expectations of this competency:

  • Summer School Internship Program – created and proposed a summer school internship program to develop and recruit highlight-qualified future educators currently in college preparatory programs for educators.
  • District Job Fair Recruiter – traveled to long-distance destinations to recruit highly qualified educators to teach and facilitate learning in our school district.
  • Campus Interviews – conducted interviews for all content area teaching positions.
